The development of transmission systems for digital cinema in the wireless network is attracting attention as next-generation broadband wireless communication infrastructure that the transmission of high-definition images (currently not only MPEG2 but also JPEG2000 for the next-generation digital cinema standards) freely distributes at any available place and time such as for home theater, TV conference, and in a medical institution. However, the present wireless communications infrastructure (the mobile telephone network and high-speed wireless LAN) is technically difficult to reach transmission rates more than 600Mbps for digital cinema wireless transmission. Therefore, in this study, we develop the wireless transmission system for digital cinema image. ]We design and develop up to 1.5Gbps data transmission rate which is the fastest MIMO wireless LAN in the world.
